Suichoen
Approximately 20,000 stone implements and stone pieces that date to about 18,000 years ago were found here. The tools found are called "knife shaped stone implements", which were made of a hard stone, "Sanukaito", quarried around Mt. Nijo. They are considered to have been used for killing and butchering animals. This is one of the largest ruins of the Old Stone Age in Japan.
